Federal laboratory to relocate, infuse an estimated $3.5 billion into state economy

Manhattan, Kan. -- The $563 million National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility (NABF) could pump some $3.5 billion into Kansas, and, while the money is an incentive, Kansas State University (KSU) officials lobbied the government for a global purpose.
